- Assistant Professor - Marketing
Description
The Assistant Professor of Marketing is a tenure-track position the NDSU College of Business, Department of Management and Marketing. This position supports the College’s academic mission through high-quality instruction delivered in person and/or online, with a standard teaching load of five three-credit courses with up to three preparations per year. In addition to teaching, the role includes conducting and publishing scholarly research in marketing and related business fields, as well as contributing meaningful service to the university and the broader business and professional community. The position is based in Fargo, ND.
Work Schedule: 9 month (8/16-5/15), 40 hours/week
Hiring Range: $130,000+
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D./DBA in marketing/business or related disciplines. ABD candidates will be considered, with the expectation of Ph.D./DBA completion by August 15 2027.
Evidence of quality research potential.
Evidence of quality teaching potential.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues and students
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D./DBA in marketing/business from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited business school.
Record of quality teaching relative to experience.
An established research record relative to experience.
Interest and ability to teach across multiple marketing areas.
