You are a Surety Account Executive with 5+ years of experience who is ready to step up to the big leagues and likes identifying and closing new business sales. Job Summary:
This is an outward client facing role.  This individual is a dedicated Account Executive who will help grow the Surety book of business by creating and managing new opportunities.  This role will have new business goals and will be compensated (bonus) on ability to meet/exceed those goals.  This individual will focus on originating new client and center of influence relationships.  
  
In addition, this role will manage the surety sales pipeline and identify and solicit qualified prospects.  This individual will set meetings to be attended with the sales team, as well as hand off service and support. 

This position has flexibility on office location and could be located in any one of our offices throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts or Connecticut. Hybrid remote schedule is also a possibility for this position.  

 What you bring to the table:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Surety/Insurance, preferably at an agency.
  • Sales Acumen/Experience
  • Producer License is Mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in relative field preferred, or equivalent in work experience
  • Knowledge or experience in construction is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of surety and terminology
  • Demonstrable sales and networking skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and operate in an ever-changing environment is critical
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Presentation skills required
  • Fluency in MS office products
  • Must be willing to work outside of core hours as needed
  • Travel required - 25%
