Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely, professional, and service-oriented support Process semi-monthly payroll 401(k) plan administration Administer employee benefits and support the annual open enrollment process Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications Support community service initiatives Maintain a welcoming, responsive, and confidential HR presence for employees and leadership Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, and HR systems Assist with audits, reporting, and HR data tracking as needed Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding and transitions Assist with company and employee insurance licensing and renewals Provide support to the Controller with accounting-related tasks as needed Assist with recruiting and hiring processes as needed
Requirements
Requirements Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 3+ years of experience in HR Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated customer service mindset and ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Experience with Paylocity is a plus
Preferred Skills and Attributes Experience with payroll, 401(k), and benefits administration Experience supporting employee engagement initiatives Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Collaborative, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset Knowledge of basic accounting principles or willingness to learn SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or PHR certification is a plus
