NREIG is seeking a dynamic, organized professional with a passion for learning and developing people to join our training team as a full-time Training Specialist. Based in Kansas City, the Training Specialist enhances the competencies of associates by designing and conducting training programs that will boost performance in alliance with the company's goals, strategy and values. Responsible for developing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for industry specific training, the key functions of the position include:
Developing unique training programs to fulfill employee-specific needs to maintain or improve job skills Creating and/or acquiring training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials Presenting training and development programs using various forms and formats to large groups Evaluating program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends in training and development Ensuring that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective Introducing new methods and techniques for training and training requirements in line with our organization and industry Collaborating with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and program enhancements
Requirements
Essential requirements for candidacy include:
Incredible written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional, relevant experience P&C Insurance knowledge/experience P&C license (we will sponsor licensure) Confident and engaging presentation skills Experience in the learning and development space Subject matter expertise in learning methodologies Proficiency with a variety of multimedia and technology training platforms
