Position Summary
We seek an enthusiastic and collaborative professional to join our Advancement team as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving. This role supports the School’s philanthropic mission by working alongside the Director of Annual Giving to strengthen the culture of giving among parents, alumni and the School's extended community. The successful candidate focuses on the execution of annual giving strategies, management of key platforms and systems, and coordination of donors and volunteers. The Assistant Director will play a central role in implementing campaigns, stewarding donors, and ensuring the smooth operation of annual giving initiatives, including the annual day of giving, Saintsgiving.

Responsibilities
Collaborate on strategy with the Director of Annual Giving in setting goals, messaging, and execution of the annual giving program.
Manage Raiser’s Edge NXT. This position would create and run queries, lists, and reports essential to track campaign progress and prepare donor and constituent materials.
Oversee GiveCampus vendor relationship, including budgeting and strategic assessment of platform capabilities.
Play a leading role in the School’s annual giving day, Saintsgiving.
Coordinate communications with Advancement and Communications colleagues to develop fundraising materials such as emails, direct mail, and other creative content.
Maintain an annual calendar and maximize use of project management software (Basecamp) to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
Support volunteer committees by coordinating meetings, tracking engagement, and providing logistical support and follow-up.
Engage with the school community by attending events and building relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents.
Assist in donor stewardship through acknowledgment calls, notes, and emails.
Proofread advancement materials including the Impact Report and other printed communications.
Coordinate donor records with Advancement Services to ensure accuracy of data, including entering contact reports and updating biographical information.
Essential Skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to design and create communications collateral is preferred
Familiarity with annual giving, volunteer management, and/or direct marketing
High level of attention to detail
Commitment to education and enthusiasm for the mission of St. Anne’s-Belfield School
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
2–4 years of experience in development, fundraising, sales or related fields is preferred
Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Basecamp, Give Campus, or similar platforms is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Office environment with frequent interruptions. Some weekend and evening work required
