Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.Your Role: Applying insurance and legal operations knowledge, analytic methods and technical skills you will be solving unstructured problems and performing analysis of higher complexity/difficulty.
Your work:
- Lead complex analysis to develop practical and innovative recommendations for achieving growth and profitability targets.
- Proactively assessing region-wide risks and opportunities, evaluating multiple outcomes and using data-based insights to influence the decisions of senior leadership.
- Update and maintain the modeling data sets using SAS, SQL or other database tools
- Understanding and reporting on the overall performance and strategy of property products in assigned markets.
- Quantifying catastrophe risk and identifying risk management strategies.
- Building annual revenue plans and explaining variances to these plans.
- Researches, designs, and advocates new technologies, architectures, and security products that will support security requirements for the organization and its customers, business partners, and vendors.
- Conveying effective presentations of findings to multiple levels of internal and external colleagues adapting the content as appropriate.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
- This role may require occasional travel (<10%) in assigned territory.
What would make us excited about you?
- 5+ years of analytical experience and/or product experience in insurance or a similar industry
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as we work with these tools daily
- Proficiency in data science and coding (SAS, Python, SQL, etc).
- Strong data visualization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into simple, actionable recommendations.
- History of taking initiative and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Strong research and analytical (quantitative and/or qualitative) skills and ability to perform analysis and identify solutions to issues.
- Ability to understand customer's goals as well as critical business processes and rules to design solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- Advanced Insurance product, price, underwriting and regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of personal lines rate plans and product offerings.
- Knowledge of insurance and ability to read and interpret standard laws and regulations.
- Experience in budget forecasting
- Project management skills
- Experience working in Tableau

The national average salary range for this position is $121,000 - $134,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $96,000-$161,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
